I’m an experienced copywriter and have spent the last 15 years writing copy for all kinds of clients all over the world. About 5 years ago I realised that I had accidentally niched down into writing recruitment copy (how did THAT happen?!) and discovered that I was actually a bit of a nerd when it comes to HR, recruitment and hiring.
But I haven’t always done this. Prior to becoming a copywriter I had a long portfolio career with jobs in pretty much every industry and role you could imagine (yes I’m THAT old), from admin to gardening, sales to teaching, so I’ve been on my fair share of CV shortlists.
